Alleged shooter who injured 2 people in youth soccer match in Manassas arrested
PRINCE WILLIAM COUNTY, Virginia (FOX 5 DC) – The suspected shooter who was identified in connection with the shooting that occurred during a Sunday morning youth football game at a college in Manassas has been arrested.
Authorities say 23-year-old Isaiah Malik Gordon surrendered to police without incident on Wednesday. The Dumfries man, police say, faces two counts of aggravated malicious wounds, one count of possession of a firearm on school grounds, two counts of using a firearm while of committing a felony and two counts of using a firearm while on the schoolyard.

Prince William County police obtained arrest warrants for Gordon in early May. Attempts to locate him were previously unsuccessful.
Police said they responded at around 10:15 a.m. at Benton Middle School at 7411 Hoadly Road. They said both victims should survive.

A witness said the shooting, which injured two men, happened a few meters from where four-year-old children were playing.
The incident stemmed from a verbal altercation between parties who knew each other.
