ODU’s Spring Football Game Has a New Name – The Virginian-Pilot

Old Dominion’s spring football game has a new name and a familiar partner.

The contest will now be known as the Priority Charity Bowl ODU Spring Game and will be held at 2 p.m. on Saturday, April 9 at Foreman Field at SB Ballard Stadium.

“We have decided to move from the flag football game we have played for the past few years and combine the Priority Toyota Charity Bowl with the ODU Spring Game, allowing us to continue the tradition of the Charity Bowl game,” Dennis said. Ellmer, President and CEO of Priority AutoGroup.

The Charity Bowl, in its 53rd year, raises money for Hampton Roads children’s charities.

The Monarchs, who bowled for the first time since 2016 last season, fired 19 starters from that team.
