UNC-Wake Forest Football Match TV Channel How To Watch and Stream
When North Carolina faces No.10 Wake Forest on Saturday, it will be the first time since 1943 that they have faced back-to-back teams ranked this high. The Tar Heels (4-4) lost to No. 11 Notre-Dame last week 44-34. Their battle with the Demon Deacons (8-0) at Kenan Stadium should also be another high-scoring game.
The game won’t count towards the ACC standings, however, as will Carolina’s 59-53 home win over Wake last season, and its 24-18 loss to Winston-Salem in 2019. Non-conference meetings have been organized as a buffer for longtime rivals who are only expected to play once every seven years in separate divisions of the league. When UNC travels to Wake next season, it will be a conference game for the first time since 2015.
Neither defense should dominate, but play could be determined by which defense can make the most plays. So far this season, that has been Wake’s modus operandi.
“Their defense, unlike ours, forced a lot of turnovers and it was a huge difference for them,” said UNC coach Mack Brown. “They are plus-10 (in terms of turnover), we are minus-1. And that’s the biggest difference between these two teams.
Saturday’s UNC-Wake Forest game will air on ABC.
